Hand-knitted from acrylic yarn, the HACB is designed to be activated by people inserting themselves into the head and arm tubes. It can house six people at a time.
It references the manner in which coral creates a colony of individual organisms, each with its own polyp and dependent on each other for survival.

Three happy polyps!
There is much laughter and confusion from the people inhabiting the work. It is also very hot once inside, each participant feeling the bodily warmth of the others involved. If the whole organism wants to go for a walk, some lead and others are, perforce, dragged along in their wake.
